Content Guideline Two

TechGummy Content Submission Guidelines

High-Quality, Original, and Globally Compliant Publishing Standards

At TechGummy Technologies Limited, our mission is to help authors turn their ideas into wealth by publishing books that meet the highest global standards. To maintain quality, protect authors, and ensure excellent reader experience, all manuscripts must follow the guidelines below.

1. Originality & Ownership

  • All content must be original, legally owned, or properly licensed.

  • No plagiarism (text, images, illustrations, or ideas).

  • Quotes, scriptures, or references must be properly cited.

  • No fanfiction featuring copyrighted characters, worlds, song lyrics, movies, or brands.

2. Book Block & Manuscript Structure Requirements

A “book block” is the internal structure of your book — chapters, layout, flow, text integrity. Poor book block quality causes books to be rejected or heavily criticized by readers.

Your manuscript must have:

2.1. Complete & Coherent Content

  • No missing chapters

  • No half-written sections or placeholder text

  • No disjointed ideas or incomplete arguments

2.2. Logical Structure

  • Clear chapter titles

  • Consistent voice and writing style

  • Proper introduction, body, and conclusion

  • Smooth flow between paragraphs

2.3. Clean Formatting

Techgummy will format professionally, but the manuscript must be readable:

  • No random spacing

  • No colored text (unless required)

  • No mixed fonts

  • No hidden tables or broken images

2.4. No Filler or Padding

The following will be rejected:

  • Repeated pages used to increase page count

  • Unnecessary repetition to make the book look longer

  • Low-value content created to “bulk up” the manuscript

2.5. No Content Blocks That Waste Reader Time

Examples of wasteful blocks:

  • Pages filled with repeated quotes

  • Excessive line breaks

  • Bullet points stretched into full chapters without substance

Techgummy aims for quality, not page count.

3. Avoiding Disappointing Customer Experience

Global retailers (like Amazon) can remove books or suspend accounts if customers complain about poor quality. To avoid this, we enforce:

3.1. High Readability Standards

No:

  • Poor English

  • Confusing storytelling

  • Sudden topic shifts

  • Unclear explanations

Customers must enjoy what they read.

3.2. No Misleading Titles

Your book title must match the content.
For example:

  • A book titled “How to Start a Poultry Business” must teach poultry business, not general motivation.

  • A book titled “30-Day Fitness Plan” must contain a structured plan, not random health tips.

3.3. No Overpromising

Books must not make false or exaggerated claims such as:

  • “Earn ₦5m monthly guaranteed”

  • “Cure cancer instantly”

  • “Become a billionaire overnight”

Such claims trigger platform penalties.

3.4. Image & Diagram Quality

For non-fiction books, images must be:

  • Clear

  • Relevant

  • Legally owned

  • Not pixelated or distorted

No blurry charts or screenshots.

3.5. Consistency

Readers complain when:

  • Characters change names mid-story

  • Dates and facts contradict each other

  • Chapters feel disconnected

Techgummy reserves the right to request revisions.
